Some wedding days unfold in a way that feels effortless from beginning to end. This beautiful celebration in downtown Cleveland was one of those days.
With Kevin & Melissa beginning a new chapter together, their wedding day felt like the perfect intersection of tradition, family, and an incredible celebration surrounded by the people who mean the most to them.
From getting ready at the historic Hotel Cleveland to a lively Lebanese dance floor at the Old Cuyahoga County Courthouse, every moment told part of their story.
Getting Ready at Hotel Cleveland in Downtown Cleveland
The day began at Hotel Cleveland, where both the bride and groom prepared for the day ahead surrounded by their closest family members.
The groom spent the morning with his father and brother, sharing a few quiet moments before the celebration began. There is always something meaningful about these early parts of the day, when everything is still calm and anticipation is building.
Just a few floors away, the bride was getting ready with her loved ones. Natural light poured into the room as final touches were added, laughter filled the space, and the excitement of the day began to grow.
A Beautiful Cleveland, Ohio Wedding Day
March in Cleveland can be unpredictable, but the day surprised us with 70-degree weather. While we battled a few passing rain showers throughout the day, we were fortunate to have incredible indoor locations that made everything seamless.
As the old saying goes, rain on your wedding day is considered good luck. Though honestly, watching these two together, it was clear they didn’t need it.
Their connection and joy were evident in every moment.
A Traditional Ceremony at
St. Maron Church
The ceremony took place at St. Maron Church, honoring the bride’s Lebanese heritage in a meaningful and beautiful way.
The traditions woven throughout the ceremony reflected both faith and family, creating a deeply personal moment as the couple officially began their marriage surrounded by loved ones.
Portraits at the Old Cuyahoga County Courthouse
After the ceremony, we headed to one of Cleveland’s most iconic architectural spaces for more portraits and to prepare for their guests reception arrival – the Old Cuyahoga County Courthouse.
With its grand marble staircases, historic columns, and dramatic lighting, the courthouse creates an incredible backdrop for wedding portraits.
Despite the occasional rain outside, the architecture inside the courthouse made for stunning portraits.
Reception at the Old Cleveland Courthouse
When guests entered the reception space, they were greeted by a beautifully designed room featuring green chartreuse tones and warm browns, creating a sophisticated and inviting atmosphere.
The design was flawlessly executed by So Bloom, who handled both the floral design and overall planning for the day.
The linens from L’Nique Linens added texture and elegance to the tables, tying the entire look together beautifully.
A Lebanese Inspired
Wedding Celebration
If you have ever attended a Lebanese wedding, you know the dance floor does not stay empty for long.
Once the celebration began, the energy in the room was incredible. Music, laughter, and dancing carried throughout the evening as friends and family celebrated together.
And of course, the food was unforgettable – another highlight of the night.
The joy and excitement on the dance floor perfectly reflected the spirit of the entire day!
A Perfect Beginning
From start to finish, this wedding was a celebration of family, tradition, and two people who are clearly meant for each other.
As they begin their journey through their many chapters ahead, it was an honor to document the beginning of their story.
