A Modern & Stylish Rooftop Wedding at the Lantern Room in Downtown Cleveland
Jen and Evan’s September wedding at The Lantern Room by Penthouse Events was everything we love about photographing in Cleveland – modern, urban, fresh, and full of personality. With the city skyline as their backdrop and their closest people (and pups!) by their side, their day was full of heart.
Cleveland kept us on our toes that morning, sending 40-mile-per-hour winds across the rooftop. You can imagine the excitement (and flying hair!) during portraits. Thankfully, the winds eased just as the ceremony approached, leaving behind a picture-perfect day filled with warm sunshine and breathtaking views of the cityscape.
What made Jen and Evan’s celebration so memorable was the way they infused their love story into the details. From playful nods to their favorite video game character, Kirby, hidden throughout the décor, to the unforgettable inclusion of their dogs in the ceremony, every touch was authentically them. Their pups, along with their “nephew dog” from Jen’s sister, absolutely stole the show. Having Doggy I Do there made it easy to keep the dogs comfortable, happy, and perfectly ready for photos.
Jen and Evan said their vows surrounded by family, friends, and their furry companions. It was the kind of September evening in Cleveland that photographers dream of – clear skies, golden light, and a rooftop setting that perfectly blended modern style with timeless romance.
