St. Christine Wedding & Waypoint 4180 Reception of Lauren & Eric - Preview Gallery
A Day for Love
Lauren and Eric began their day at the Courtyard by Marriott in Canfield, which also happens to be connected to the stunning wedding reception venue that the couple chose – Waypoint 4180. It is a stunning new space that has amazing views of Kensington Golf Club and absolutely gorgeous decor. The space is also adorned with beautiful design elements, such as gold leaf artwork and stunning art pieces, sure to please any bride and groom looking for a classy yet versatile space to host their wedding and/or reception. It was wonderful having access to the entire grounds, including the golf course.
We took full advantage of the opportunity.
We also had the opportunity to capture Lauren and Eric’s wedding ceremony at the St. Christine Roman Catholic Church, and the stained glass windows and the grandness of the space were something to behold. We are really excited to have captured the essence of the glass and the space itself.
The Reception at Waypoint 4180
After the ceremony at St. Christine’s, we headed over to Waypoint 4180 in Canfield to capture the reception. It was a lively event, and the DJ/Master of Ceremonies (Mr. Brian Price) did a fantastic job of getting the energy up and packing the dancefloor. The first dance of the night was of course the new Mr. & Mrs., but not until after they cut their cake.
Dinner was served shortly thereafter, but not until after the blessing was given by Lauren’s grandfather, who in my opinion, was one of the most elegant speakers I have ever heard at a wedding. He spoke so smoothly, and so effortlessly, and the words he wove together to tell a story and offer a blessing were from the deepest parts of his heart and soul. It was something to behold.
The New Mr. & Mrs.
Since Waypoint 4180 is fairly new, we were extremely excited to be able to work there and to get our creative juices flowing in a space that we had not previously photographed. We had been to the space, and seen it several times, but this was the first time being able to create there. We took advantage and we tried to utilize the space, as well as highlight its key features. Lauren and Eric looked great all by themselves, but being able to get some unique “wow” shots for them was super important to us.
We’re really happy with the result. Let us know what you think! Head over to our Facebook page (Facebook.com/KroppPhotography) and leave us a comment, a like, or a follow. We really appreciate it.
