Ok, first things first…before I tell you about this unbelievable couple and their Vineyards at Pine Lake wedding, I have to admit something – I have gotten pretty behind on blog posting. Ok…I’ve gotten WAYYY behind on blog posting.

We have had a TON of weddings and a ton of engagement sessions take place since my last blog post (circa 2019), but 2020 is going to have more blog posts, galleries, and videos for your viewing and reading pleasure. If I don’t, I think my wife Samantha may take drastic measures. Lol

A Vineyards at Pine Lake Wedding

Capturing a wedding day, to Samantha and I, is about capturing the essence of the day – the story – in such a way that when our couples see their wedding gallery for the first time they get to relive their entire wedding day experience in it’s entirety.

We want them to feel the genuine emotions, the laughter, the happy tears and the overwhelming joy of their special day – because those are the things that take you back the your day – a day that goes by SO quickly.

Jenna and Andy’s wedding day had it all. Every last detail was thought of with care, from Jenna’s stunning Jacqueline’s Bridal wedding dress and her exquisite Badgley Mischka shoes down to her flower arrangements, bouquets, invitations and decor.

Jenna was all smiles as she and her bridesmaids got ready in the morning. Her wedding dress was a thing of beauty, and she looked absolutely stunning in it.

First We Drink

Andy and his guys got ready at the home of one of his very close friends, and it was a very casual morning mixed with laughter, a few bites to eat, and a few drinks at Birdfish Brewery (learn more HERE), a favorite hang out spot of Andy and Jenna’s.

The owners were gracious enough to let us in before they were even open so we had the entire place to ourselves. If you’re ever in the area, stop in and check them out. It’s a really unique place with a great atmosphere to it.

The First Look

By early afternoon, we made our way over to the main venue space and it was time for the bride and groom to see each other for the first time.

The first look is a chance for the couple to spend an intimate moment together before the ceremony, and we get to capture the anticipation and the reaction. It really is a special moment, and then we get an opportunity to spend some one on one time with the couple ourselves before guests begin to arrive and the ceremony gets under way.

A Beautiful Couple in Love

After their first look was over, it was time for us to spend a little bit of one on one time with our couple prior to the ceremony. We really enjoy having this time with the couple because it doesn’t feel rushed at all and it allowed Jenna and Andy to have at least a little bit of alone time before guests started to arrive for the ceremony, and most importantly, it allowed us to get some really great shots of Jenna and Andy in the vineyard as well as by the gorgeous lake – I mean, it’s a Vineyards at Pine Lake wedding – it HAD to include the vineyards and the lake.

These two absolutely glowed no matter where we were, and their love and affection for each other really shows.

A Ceremony by the Lake

Once we were finished with our private session with the bride and groom to be, we headed to the outdoor space where Andy and Jenna’s closest friends and family members gathered to witness this gorgeous and heartfelt ceremony. Laughter and happiness was bountiful, and tears were flowing for sure.

The details of the ceremony space were well thought of, and the flowers looked absolutely gorgeous.

Making an Entrance

Seeing the entire reception space waiving their napkins in the air for the grand entrance of the new Mr. & Mrs. was a very touching moment. Seeing the reaction on everyone’s faces was a lot of fun.

Andy and Jenna went right to the dance floor for their very first dance as husband and wife. It was very sweet, but not as sweet as the next thing they did – cut the cake!

How about those delicious looking donuts? Well let me tell you, they were just as tasty as they look. I know, because I may or may not have had one.

The End of the Night

Getting people out on to the dance floor was no problem for DJ Branden, and the party continued into the night as the guests enjoyed dancing and sipping on a few cocktails.

Samantha and I were able to steal away the new bride and groom for a few sunset photos that turned out to be some really fun shots, and that they really enjoyed as well.
