Stambaugh Auditorium Wedding of Monica & Rich - Preview Gallery
The Groom and The Bride
Starting the day off at the Downtown Youngstown DoubleTree Hilton was a great choice by the couple, and it served as not only the location for getting ready for Rich and Monica, but it would also serve as the reception location later on in the evening, after the ceremony at the one and only Stambaugh Auditorium.
The 12th floor of the DoubleTree by Hilton Youngstown Downtown was beautifully decorated and designed by none other than Mr. Joe Mineo of Joe Mineo Creative. Find out more about his services by checking out his website JoeMineoCreative.com by clicking HERE.
There are some amazing examples of Joe’s design work i the preview gallery below. Be sure to check them out.
Monica and Rich have a style and flair all their own, and it showed. Monica actually wore THREE wedding dresses throughout the night.
Yes, THREE. And it was awesome. Stay tuned for the full gallery update to see those ones!

The Ceremony
The ceremony at Stambaugh Auditorium took place in the grand ballroom, and it was immaculate. The space was decorated beautifully, and there was even a pianist and a solo vocalist who performed for the couple during the ceremony. Later that evening, the singer did a rendition of “At Last” by Etta James during the reception that was phenomenal.
There was a very touching moment during the ceremony, after the ring exchange, where Rich spoke a few words to his new daughter and presented her with a ring as well. It was very sweet.

The Couple of the Hour
Once the ceremony was over, it was time for some photos with the new Mr. & Mrs. inside the ever stunning Stambaugh Auditorium. The architecture is something you really have to see in person to appreciate. It’s gorgeous inside, and having a couple like Monica and Rich is a dream for us as photographers. They looked great in the space, and I think we got some really timeless, classic photographs of them on their most important day.

Downtown Youngstown DoubleTree by Hilton Wedding Reception!
Going from the one and only Stambaugh Auditorium in Downtown Youngstown to the Stambaugh Building that houses the DoubleTree by Hilton in Downtown Youngstown took only a few minutes, and it took us up to the 12th floor of the hotel to the absolutely stunning wedding reception area designed by Mr. Joe Mineo as I mentioned earlier.
Here it is, and Monica and Rich got the chance to see it first before the guests arrived. They loved it!
Just look at that sweetheart table…

Dancing on Clouds & Downtown Youngstown
Closing out our preview gallery is a shot of Monica and Rich “dancing on clouds” during their very first dance as husband and wife.
We love to grab our couples at around sunset and head outside for some sunset photos, and just to let the new husband and wife have a moment together to just take it all in and enjoy each other and that particular moment.
We also took this opportunity to get a really cool shot in the elevator when we got back up to the 12th floor after the sunset photos. I give full credit to my wife on this one. She had this vision for this shot all day and had been talking about how we were gonna get it. She was right…we got it.
