An Intimate Peter Allen Inn Wedding
A Day to Remember
Looking back on this August 2020 wedding ceremony at the Church of Saint Michael and reception at Peter Allen Inn is a fun way to go back to warmer weather during these cold winter days here in Ohio. Dylan and Becky had to rearrange their wedding plans several times due to you know what, and when they finally settled on Peter Allen Inn, we knew it was going to be special.
In our experience, things have a way of working themselves out for the best, and this day was no exception.
Before The Ceremony
Becky and her mom were absolutely adorable all day long. Their closeness and their strong bond was apparent the entire day. The joy was real and it was constant.
First Look with Dad
After Becky was finished with getting ready for her big day, it was time for her first look with he father. He was just beaming the moment he came through the door. His reaction was genuine and heartfelt, and you could tell how much his approval meant to his beautiful daughter.
The Bride & Groom
The grounds around Peter Allen Inn are gorgeous and were in full display in August as we took Becky and Dylan each out for some individual photos. We made sure to keep them apart so as not to accidentally see each other. No first looks for these two – it was on to the ceremony to say “I do”.
The Ceremony at the Church of Saint Michael
It was an absolutely gorgeous day with blue skies and smiles all around. The bride and the groom were beaming with joy and their happiness was obvious. It was such wonderful, heartfelt ceremony.
Ribbon Exit Surprise
Unfortunately because of the restrictions at the time, most of Becky and Dylan’s friends and family could not attend or participate in the ceremony and reception, but that didn’t stop a small group of friends and loved ones from stopping by and showing their support for the newlyweds.
It was very moving to see the surprise on Becky and Dylan’s faces when they came out to see the unexpected crowd gathered across the street from the church. Tears of joy could be seen falling from the brides eyes.
The New Mr. & Mrs.
After the ceremony at the Church of Saint Michael, it was off to Peter Allen Inn for a little alone time with our new bride and groom
Toasts & First Dances
The staff at the Peter Allen Inn really outdid themselves with their gorgeous table setting for the wedding party. It was magnificent, and Becky and Dylan were extremely pleased.
The toast made by the father of the bride and the father of the groom were spot on, and full of emotion and well wishes.
Becky and Dylan’s first dance was exactly what a first dance should be – it should be filled with love and happiness and the presence of the moment.
I particularly love the look from Becky’s mothers as her little girl is dancing with her father – such a touching and unforgettable moment.
Cake Cutting to End the Day
After dinner and dancing and toasts from loved ones, it was time to cut the cake and conclude the days events. What an amazing day shared by all.
